::) They seem to start earlier each year. Pretty soon these items will be sitting next to the fireworks!

Our major department store (Macy's) have had their decorations up for a while.  I hate seeing the Christmas items before Thanksgiving.  I miss the old days.   :o

I try and save some money every month just for Christmas, along with points from the supermarket loyality cards [although I am not loyal to any supermarket].  I also buy saver stamps from Morrisons and cash them in in December as well as saving the money off vouchers from Tescoes - every little helps. ;D  I rarely buy any pressies before November.  I do try and get organised but it just never seems to happen in this house... ::)

Out for a walk this evening and saw thriugh the windows of a local church ( not my denomination) that in one of the upstairs rooms... usedfor scouts or Sunday school... was a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree!    Now that's really pushing the season....
Dogs and kids... a natural combination....

It certainly is!  How strange that a Church should do that ???  I can't say I have seen any trees up anywhere yet, although I haven't been into the shopping centre for a few weeks now so I cannot say for sure.
