Just finished a 3 day seminar on tracking and obedience. The first 2 days we did long tracks of about 200 paces with multiple legs and articles. The 3rd day we took a break and did a simpler 100 pace, 1 leg serpentine track with 1 article at the end. One of my goals was to improve my ability to handle the leash at its full 33 ft/10 meter length. The 3rd morning we had a very steady, strong rain - which was a great opportunity to work under poor conditions because you never know what the weather might be at a trial.
This is a video of our 3rd track with full leash length. Fancy's not a fan of laying her delicate tummy down in cold, wet grass but she learned and did very well.
