I have a new boxer puppy (nearly 9 weeks old) and she sleeps an awful lot...... is this natural just I was expecting her to be really bouncy

Yes, it's normal to sleep a lot at that age.

Wait a couple weeks. But even then, dogs still spend a lot of their time sleeping if they are not being actively engaged with you.

Yes, very normal for a puppy and adult dogs also.  My two are sleeping right now.

God love these Boxers as I am being stared at with a toothy smile, whining and talking to me because she wants a treat.   :lol_hitting:
